Welcome!
I'm Shelley Sly. I write Middle Grade novels (for ages 9-12) about friendship, family, and figuring out where you fit in. Whether you've stumbled across my name on the internet or you already know me, this is where you'll find everything Shelley Sly-related. Check out my Blog for the latest updates, hop on over to Books to learn more about what I've written, or contact me via the Socialize page if you have any questions or just want to say hi!
A little about me...
I grew up in New Jersey, but I consider my "hometown" to be in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., where I began my journey as an author. I currently live in the hot, dry desert of the southwest with my husband and our chocolate lab mix. Three things I'm a huge nerd about are children's books, indie music, and video games. I'd live in Disney World if I could, but I also hope to travel to places I've never been, both internationally and within the United States. I'm always on the lookout for story ideas!
I'm the author of WISHING FOR WASHINGTON, about a sister and brother who attempt to meet the president, and ONE HUNDRED THIRTY STARS, about a girl who attends a video game convention in hopes of getting to know her dad. Both books are available on Amazon.com. My latest novel, CAMP NEVER, will be released on February 25, 2016.
